Adverse circumstances bring in the person the best of attitude and perseverance. Samina lost her father when she was just of one year. Mother brought up both the children with support from her Nana ji and Uncle by leasing out the land to them for farming. Samina pursued her studies in Govt school and then got her coaching from a noble institution Dakshina. She has secured AIR 8658 (category rank 3230). She is determined to help her mother and villagers on being a doctors. VPM feels privileged to support such students.
Ruksana
It is said to achieve something big, you have to dream about it and keep on pouring your efforts continuously until you reach there. Ruksana daughter of a labourer from a village in Haryana, proves that. Even she studied in a Govt school, she got selected in Super 100 scheme of Haryana Govt,but could not get seat in MBBS college. Her dreams to be a doctor, pushed the father to borrow money @2% per month for her coaching for NEET exams. She secured AIR21177 and is now pursuing MBBS with support from VPM.
Poonam Swami
Poonam saw his grand parents in poor health. While she was a child, she used to give them dose of medicines as prescribed by the doctors as father has to go for his daily labour work. This helping nature pushed her to do MBBS. Though studies in Gramin. Pragati school in Vishwa her village, School teacher provided for funds for her coaching. She secured rank of 15685 in NEET and is pursuing her dreams to be a doctor with full support from VPM
Rohit Kumar
Rohit’s father pulls hand driven cart in vegetable market . His reference can through known person . While interviewing them , we came to know that for his coaching for NEET Exams , father took loan of Rs1lac from moneylender at interest @5% per month . I asked him , if he would have not cleared the exams then what he would have done . Father strong reply was , bachha tou mera hai .
VPM not only assisted with interest free loan of Rs65000/ to get rid of hight cost debt but also with his yearly fees for doing MBBS from Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences, Safai, Etawah . Such gems will bring positive change in the society in addition to making their family and VPM proud .
